Challenges/Opportunities

AWHONN needed to update the quality and marketing of their premium all products catalog to better reflect the needs of their core audience. The first step was to ascertain product sales and space allocation to focus on new and best-selling products by highlighting benefits, content and member discounts. A new design was also needed to streamline readability and offers while promoting the needs of their members and customers.

Strategy/Results:

To begin older non performing products were deleted allowing better space for incoming new products. Products were shifted into easier to find categories as well. All new copy provided by the client allowed L2 to refocus the direction to a more benefit oriented platform and editorial content. After galleys were reviewed by the client, L2 designed an entirely new format that while expanding copy content and visuals, actually took up less space than the previous year catalog. L2 also took the opporunity to cross sell membership and play up the great value of both member discounts and free member only products and services.
